Once an order request has been received a follow-up email will be sent to confirm order details.
PAYMENTS
1. Postal orders: FULL payment is required at time of order, via bank transfer or
SumUp (details will be provided at time of order via email).
2. Collection/Delivered* orders:
FULL payment is required at time of order, via bank transfer or SumUp (details will
be provided at time of order via email).
3. Christmas Cake orders and Christmas Festive treats:
FULL payment is required at time of order, via bank transfer or SumUp (details will
be provided at time of order via email).
Cakes will be available for collection / delivery in time for Christmas, by arrangement.
Cakes to be posted will be sent via Royal Mail Tracked 24. P&P priced from £5.50
depending on weight.
*Delivery (Local): By arrangement only, this will incur an additional charge, which will
be confirmed and paid for at time of order.
Bank Account Details / SumUp
Will be provided as required.
Shipping
All orders are dispatched via Royal Mail Tracked 24 and will usually arrive the following day.

Cancellation by Customers
In the event you need to cancel your order, please give as much notice as possible. Louise's Kitchen reserves the right to retain your Initial payment. This is due to the costs incurred in undertaking any work that has already been started on your order.
Cancellation must be made in writing to Louise’s Kitchen and will only be deemed to take effect from the date your letter/email is received.
If cancellation occurs within 48 hours of collection/delivery, FULL payment will be required regardless, for the reasons already stated above.
Date Rearrangements
We understand that sometimes arrangements and events must be altered. Should you require to postpone or change your original collection/delivery date, please give Louise's Kitchen as much notice as possible. We will endeavour to accommodate your new chosen date, however in the event this is not possible, the cancellation policy outlined above will take effect.
Cancellation by Louise's Kitchen
We retain the right to cancel any order in very unusual circumstances beyond our control, included but not limited to fire or ill health (in line with Food Hygiene Regulations). We will give as much notice as possible and will refund any money taken in FULL for orders that are unable to be fulfilled.
Allergen Information
A wide variety of ingredients are used in our bakes, many of which contain food allergens. You will be notified of any allergens present or (traces of) in cakes you wish to order prior to accepting your order, and upon collection/delivery.
In addition, all orders are dispatched containing a full ingredients list for each item, with food allergens present listed in BOLD.
Please note although any product may not specifically contain certain food allergens, some of the ingredients may have been produced in an environment where food allergens are processed.
The cakes are also made in a kitchen where nuts and other food allergens are used, therefore we cannot guarantee that any of our cakes are completely free of all traces for people who are highly sensitive.
Best Before Dates
Due to the cakes being freshly made using fresh ingredients, they do not have an extended shelf life like supermarket products. With each order there will be a Best before date, and storage instructions to maximise the enjoyment and freshness of the products.
Louise's Kitchen holds no liability when goods have been consumed after the recommended dates, or when cakes have not been stored as advised.
Inedible Items/Decorations
Depending on the design of the product, some may contain inedible items (such as, but not limited to, card or acrylic toppers; motifs; ribbons and/or trim; decorations). You will be advised of such items, but it is your responsibility to ensure that all inedible items are removed prior to consumption.
Damage to cakes
Louise's Kitchen holds no responsibility for any damage caused to a cake/s once they have left our possession. Louise's Kitchen ensures a suitable box is provided for any product and advice on how to transport and store your cake/s is provided before /upon you collect your cake. Failure to adhere to the advice given may result in damage to your cake/s.
Returns
Due to the perishable nature of the products, we are unable to accept returns. However, please get in touch if you have any problems and we will do our best to resolve them for you.
