ABOUT LOUISE'S KITCHEN

My name is Louise and I live in Dorset in the South of England, UK.

 

I have been baking since I was a small child, when I would watch and learn from my Grandma and my Mum. At a very young age I was baking traditional recipes and allowed to experiment and try out recipes. After some cake-fails and lots of practice I became the family baker. I loved baking anything and everything, whether it was Hot Cross Buns, Christmas Cakes, Scones, Easter cakes, flapjacks or anything else! 

 

At 16, I had a dream which changed the direction of my life. It led me to catering college and beyond, and I am thrilled to now have Louise's Kitchen. My love of baking and cooking has stayed with me all my life, it is never too late to have a dream turn into reality, time does not matter in that sense, age does not have to define us or limit us. Life can surprise us, it has me!

 

My logo has been adapted from a fridge magnet my mother gave me many years ago - it was back then I decided that the name of my business would be Louise's Kitchen! It was really important to me to incorporate the magnet image into my logo. It has been on my fridge door waiting all this time!

 

I love baking and as my name suggests 'Christmas and Christmas Cakes' are also at the heart of what I do. It is my favourite time of year (except the weather!), creating festive treats and Christmas Cakes brings me so much joy.
