Product Info
I read that ‘Tiffin’ was originally used to describe a light lunch or afternoon tea. Nowadays it has become synonymous in being the title name of delicious chocolate slices, made with store cupboard ingredients such as biscuits, golden syrup and chocolate to name a few, then set in the refrigerator before being cut into portions of various shapes and sizes.
The ‘original’ recipe is one I was given by a friend when my children were tiny. It was so easy to make and very popular. Since those days, over the years, I have adapted the recipe several times to produce other variations which are now available in Louise’s Kitchen.
You may have noticed by other items available to order from my shop, that I love ginger. I can't help it, it's one of those childhood flavours that I fell in love with. Even today my favourite biscuit is the good old original Ginger Snap!
So of course I absolutely had to include a variety of Tiffin made with Ginger and Dark Chocolate.
What's not to like? Ginger and Dark Chocolate, a food marriage made in heaven!
