Tiffin, Rocky Road Style - 'Egg' Edition
I read that ‘Tiffin’ was originally used to describe a light lunch or afternoon tea. Nowadays it has become synonymous with being the title name of delicious chocolate slices, made with store cupboard ingredients such as biscuits, golden syrup and chocolate to name a few, then set in the refrigerator before being cut into portions of various shapes and sizes.
The ‘original’ recipe is one I was given by a friend when my children were tiny. It was so easy to make and very popular.Since those days, over the years, I have adapted the recipe several times to produce other variations which are now available in Louise’s Kitchen. Please see separate listings.

Rich moreish chocolate slices, made with dark chocolate; crushed biscuit pieces; plump juicy raisins; golden syrup; chocolate honeycomb; marshmallows; chewy toffee crisp; and a huge amount of a blend of milk and dark chocolate enveloping it all.
It is a taste sensation and definitely one to share...well if you want to...Haha.
