Christmas wouldn't be the same without the wonderful aromas of ginger, mixed spices, cinnamon and cloves. This recipe promises all of these.
Childhood memories of that well-known ginger loaf many of us grew up with will come flooding back as you enjoy a slice, or two of this delightful cake.
I love all things ginger, and I especially love this recipe which delivers delicious slices of ginger heaven.
Made with spices, cloves, stem ginger and treacle. The gingerbread is soft, with a traditional sticky top, with that irresistible ginger deliciousness, it is really divine!Perfect on its own or serve it as a dessert with custard, just what is called for on a dark winters night!
