Spiced, Citrus, Rich Fruitcake with Cointreau/ Grand Marnier Brandy Liqueur decorated with Fruits, Nuts and festive decorations.
I love searching for new recipes to try out, this one was no exception when I found it. The plump vine fruits, cherries, cranberries, apricots, soaked in aromatic festive spices, zest of orange, citrus, and Cointreau liqueur / Grand Marnier Brandy liqueur give this cake a delicious flavour. Matured with extra Cointreau or Brandy allowing the flavours to develop. Beautiful!
Decorated with an assortment of fruits and nuts and an apricot glaze, with non-edible festive decorations.
